MEMBER INTRODUCTION
Polly is a graduate of Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Rosemont College (cum laude) and SMU Dedman School of Law. Polly has enjoyed over 30 years of practice in family law in North Texas. She has been board certified in family law for more than 15 years. Out of a total of 110,000 licensed attorneys in Texas, only 6,950 are board certified in their respective practice areas.
Committed to settling litigation whenever possible, Polly is a litigator with thousands of hours of courtroom experience. Polly believes in the preservation of positive co-parenting relationships following divorce or the separation of unmarried parents. She has hundreds of successful mediations and informal settlement conferences to her credit. Research supports that agreements made by parents outside of the courtroom provide the best possible outcomes for children. However, that is not always possible in situations where substance abuse or serious mental illness is present. Polly is well-versed in representing clients with these kinds of issues.
The financial aspects of divorce can be complicated. Polly is experienced in handling divorce for high net worth individuals with complex asset structures, as well as more simple estates.
Since 2000, Polly has also a been a trained and certified Collabortative attorney.
