Melissa Cowle

MEMBER INTRODUCTION

An associate attorney at the law firm of Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson LLP, in Dallas, Texas, Melissa Cowle is a dedicated attorney who helps clients dealing with family law issues navigate through this difficult and overwhelming time in their lives. She represents clients in family law matters including but not limited to divorce, parental visitation, spousal support, property division, marital agreements, paternity, and modifications. Licensed to practice in Texas since 2016, Ms. Cowle is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Southern Methodist University in Texas, where she received the SMU Distinguished Scholarship and was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Ms. Cowle then went on to pursue her legal education at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. During law school, she served as 3L class president, and served as the director of marketing and communication for the sports and entertainment law society. With genuine concern for her clients, Ms. Cowle is a zealous advocate who fights aggressively for the rights and liberties of her clients. She provides personal attention to each of her clients and has an unwavering commitment to their goals and needs. Upholding their best interests, she helps her clients plan for the future and leads them toward making the best-informed decisions for their lives. Ms. Cowle holds active memberships in several legal associations such as the State Bar of Texas, the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, Annette Stewart American Inn of Courts, the Texas Family Law Foundation and the Collin County Women Lawyers Association. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery (AiRs), an organization that supports survivors of breast cancer.
