Amy Montgomery

MEMBER INTRODUCTION

Amy N. Montgomery has practiced exclusively family law since her graduation from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004. She is Board Certified in the area of Family Law. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization is a specialized group of attorneys that must obtain exceptional experience in a specific area of law, pass a comprehensive exam, and complete ongoing continuing legal education in that specialized area. Her focus includes all aspects of family law including divorce, modification, child custody, visitation, child support, property division, mediation, collaborative law, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, adoptions, and contested litigation. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Amy was a member of the Mock Trial Team and winner of the Hippard Open Mock Trial Competition. She was also invited into the Order of Barristers and a member of the Houston Journal of International Law Journal.
