MEMBER INTRODUCTION
Beth knew from the age of 10 that she wanted to practice family law when she was inspired by a family member who ran for judge. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas then graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. While in law school she served on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal.
Beth’s law practice has been limited exclusively to family law since she was licensed in 2002, and her practice has been limited to family law exclusively in her entire career. In 2015 she met the qualification to become designated as a board-certified family law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a status earned by less than 10% of attorneys in Texas.
Beth received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. Beth graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where she served on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal.
Beth assists clients in the resolution of cases through mediation and informal settlements. Beth has trained in basic mediation and advanced mediation with an emphasis on family law. She has tried cases with judges and to juries. Beth has completed multiple appeals and other post-trial proceedings, successfully overturning one trial court in a CPS case. When children are involved, you can count on her to put them first.
Growing up in Texas, Ms. Nielsen loves football. The Dallas Cowboys are her favorite professional team. Beth is a mom to three adult children and two dogs.
