For more than 20 years, clients have trusted Joseph Indelicato, Jr., to help resolve legal matters in the family law courts, from child custody to complex property disputes associated with a divorce. The native Houstonian has forged a legal reputation not only in the courtrooms of Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria and Galveston counties, but also as a gifted and entertaining speaker and frequent course director of continuing legal education seminars throughout the state of Texas. A 1988 graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston, Mr. Indelicato is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has achieved excellence as a superior trial attorney, as well as being a trained mediator and arbitrator, helping parties resolve family law disputes outside the courtroom. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, an officer in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, and most recently became a fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Indelicato does not confine his interests to practicing family law; he continually keeps himself abreast of proposed legislation involving the law and its impact on Texas families as a Director of the Texas Family Law Foundation, which has taken him to Austin to speak in front of legislative committees. An active member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Council, Legislative Committee, Section Report Board of Editors, Nominating Committee and Website and Technology committee, Mr. Indelicato is well known throughout the state for his leadership in numerous professional family law organizations. Mr. Indelicato has earned the AV Peer review rating from Martindale-Hubble and has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly Magazine. The proud father of three also loves fishing and sailing.
