Member Introduction

I am a 41 year lawyer, 35 year family law specialist and 17 year mediator. I am now available as a full time mediator and arbitrator. Have mediation will travel. I will mediate all over Texas. As a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for over 35 years, I have the experience, knowledge and skill to mediate or arbitrate any Texas family law issue. I know that divorce and other family law issues are very stressful and difficult for the parties involved. I listen carefully, connect with and build trust with the parties in a mediation. Remaining neutral is critically important for the mediator. I am the past President of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, Past President of the Denton County Bar Association and the Denton County Collaborative Professionals. As a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, I have contacts all over the United States. I have written or presented 50 articles and topics for law schools, the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the State Bar of Texas. For 20 years I have been a contributing author of the five volume Texas Family Law Practice Manual and Practice Notes. I have also been a contributing author for the Expert Witness Manual and the LexisNexis Texas Annotated Family Code.
